Macklyn Austin for Mayor

Yazoo City, Mississippi is a community with rich history, deep roots, and untapped potential. As Mayor, I will focus on transforming challenges into opportunities and restoring confidence in local leadership. My administration will emphasize transparency, technological accessibility, and data-driven results. Real progress begins with honest conversations, responsible action, and leadership that listens and remains engaged.

 

The overall vision of my administration is built on four (4) pillars: 

1) Safety — Ensuring every citizen feels safe and secure in every neighborhood

2) Growth — Attracting high quality jobs, educators, and businesses, while also improving of our school district

3) Unity — Strengthening relationships between residents, students, leaders, and organizations

4) Faith — Grounding our work in compassion, humility, and service
